Kronberg Academy Professional Studies with Janine Jansen
Winner of the Rodolfo Lipizer International Violin Competition 2022, Worldvision Music Contest 2022, VIII International Tchaikovsky Youth Competition 2014 and the Vietnam International Violin and Chamber Music Competition 2019, Ruslan Talas performed his debut concert at the Elbphilharmonie in 2019 and was a laureate of the Postacchini International Competition 2018, The Yankelevich International Violin Competition 2011 and the Stuttgart International Violin Competition 2024 as well as a finalist at the Concours musical international de Montréal 2023.
Talas has performed at the Berliner Philharmonie, Wiener Konzerthaus, major halls in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Astana, Tashkent, Beijing, Hanoi, Mexico City and Stuttgart, Maison symphonique de Montréal, Liederhalle Stuttgart’s Beethovensaal, Moscow’s Zaryadye State Concert Hall and Radio Hall in the Romanian capital of Bucharest.
As a soloist, he has performed with the Russian National Orchestra, the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of Russia, Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra, Beijing Youth Symphony Orchestra, Moscow State Symphony Orchestra for Children and Youth, New Russia State Symphony Orchestra, Taurida International Symphony Orchestra, La Primavera Chamber Orchestra, Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra, Omsk Philharmonic Orchestra, The Symphony Orchestra of the State Academic Philharmonic of Astana, Sun Symphony Orchestra, the Symphony Orchestra of the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan, the Eurasian Symphony Orchestra, the San Luis Potosi Symphony Orchestra, Nova Orchester Wien (NOW!), the Moscow Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra, Orchestre symphonique de Montréal, Stuttgarter Philharmoniker and more.
Ruslan Talas has attended masterclasses with Ivry Gitlis, Viktor Tretyakov, Viktor Danchenko, Pavel Vernikov, Boris Kushnir, Chaim Taub and Régis Pasquier as well as the State Quartet of Borodin, Kopelman Quartet and Quartetto di Cremona, playing as part of the Tchaikovsky Youth Quartet.
As a student of Irina Bochkova and Graf Mourja, he graduated from the Tchaikovsky State Conservatory in Moscow, Russia, and also studied for many years with Vladimir Reider, Israel. He is currently studying at the Haute École de Musique (HEMU) Valais-Wallis in Switzerland in the class of Janine Jansen.
Since October 2024, Ruslan Talas has been studying at Kronberg Academy with Janine Jansen.
