Offers for students
The study programmes offer the following content
which is individualized to each student. THEY CONSIST OF COURSES FROM THE FOLLOWING CATALOG:
- instrumental lessons with the personal teacher
- Masterclasses with soloists and conductors
- Personal coachings and open seminars in music and career management (moderation and interview coaching, self- presentation, financial and security tips for KSK, insurance, taxes and psychological questions)
- lessons in music theory, ear training, musicology, alexander technique, composition
- Coachings in music education with children
- Chamber music lessons with eminent soloists
- Final concerts of masterclasses performed together with the teachers/tutors
- Piano accompanists for all masterclasses and instrumental lessons provided, available for rehearsals as well
- The chance to play with famous soloists or orchestras at Kronberg Festival
- The chance to participate in Chamber Music Connects the World to work with renowned musicians and composers and play concerts together
- “KA on Tour” projects in international concert halls such as Wigmore Hall, Carnegie Hall, Suntory Hall, Tonhalle Zürich, Konzerthaus Dortmund, Konzerthaus Berlin
- Developing and practicing leading skills by rehearsing solo concertos with orchestras during the academic year (“Rückenwind Orchester”)
- social non-profit concerts for groups of people with special needs –for the unusual audience
- programming and organising an own concert (Mittwochskonzerte)
- Recording opportunities (audio and video)
- Casals Forum with Großer Saal (big chamber music hall) and Carl Bechstein Saal (smaller recital hall)
- Recording opportunities (audio and video) in the Carl Bechstein hall with professional recording studio
- Study center with practise rooms, studios and lounge
- use of the new Steinway Spirio digital system
- Affordable student apartments
- Free strings by Larsen Strings, Pirastro and Thomastik Infeld for personal use
- Free access to the Henle Library App
- Access to the music library
- Meals together with grand artists (lunches and dinners with artists)
