Thomas Flender

Thomas Flender studied in Essen and Cologne. His first position after graduating was with the Rheinische Philharmonie state orchestra. From 1997 to 2007, he was deputy principal horn at the Mannheim National Theatre. He has held the same position in the SWR Symphony Orchestra since 2007.

In addition to his work in the orchestra, he is also active as a committed chamber musician in various ensembles.
