Kronberg Academy, one of the most important musical meeting and
training centers, and Techem, a leading provider of smart and sustainable building
building solutions, have entered into a pioneering partnership. This cooperation combines two central pillars: sustainable energy supply and excellent classical music. The Casals Forum, which is not only a masterpiece of sound architecture, but also a model for future-oriented energy supply concepts, is at the center of the partnership.
Techem takes over the complete energy supply of the Casals Forum with 100% green electricity in an innovative heating and cooling contracting. By using heat pumps and an ice storage system, the Forum can be air-conditioned efficiently and CO2-neutrally. This energy concept symbolizes responsibility for people, music and the earth - the Kronberg Academy Foundation's mission statement in the spirit of Pablo Casals. “The partnership between Kronberg Academy and Techem combines excellence and a spirit of innovation with value-oriented action,” says Matthias Hartmann, CEO of Techem. “By supporting social and ecological projects, together we are making a positive contribution to society and the environment.”
Shared responsibility for the region and our future
The partnership is a long-term commitment to the region and to global sustainability. Through their joint commitment to ecological and social responsibility, Kronberg Academy and Techem are sending a clear signal for a smart and green future. Raimund Trenkler, founder and director of Kronberg Academy, emphasizes: “We are delighted to have a strong partner at our side in Techem, who shares our conviction that the artistic and ecological avant-garde can shape a sustainable future together.” Kronberg Academy's aim is not only to support its students musically, but also to prepare them for future challenges.
prepare them for future challenges. “Through this cooperation, we are creating sustainable sound spaces that unite artistic, social and ecological harmony,” adds Trenkler.
Focus on climate protection
A partnership that impressively demonstrates that cultural institutions can also play an active role in climate and environmental protection. “Our collaboration not only makes a valuable contribution to the decarbonization of the building sector, but also serves as a model for similar collaborations in Germany and Europe,” explains Hartmann. Together, Kronberg Academy and Techem are creating solutions that will benefit both the people in the region and future generations in the long term.
