Ein außergewöhnliches Konzert 2025

On June 7, 2025, the Symphonic Accordion Orchestra Hessen (SAkkOH) will visit the Casals Forum in Kronberg as a guest for the second time. The orchestra originated in 2013 from the Hessian State Accordion Orchestra (LAOH) and represents an initiative for the musical education of accordionists, orchestra conductors, and accordion teachers within the State Association Hessen of the German Harmonica Association (DHV).

SAkkOH impressively demonstrates the musical range and expressive capabilities of the accordion. The orchestra presents a variety of musical styles and epochs, from Baroque to contemporary avant-garde. The orchestra and its conductor, Thomas Bauer, are particularly dedicated to promoting and performing demanding and musically high-quality arrangements and original compositions.
