Weronika Dziadek
Kronberg Academy Professional Studies with Nobuko Imai, funded by the Dorothea Neuhaus patronage
Weronika Dziadek, born 1995 in Katowice (Poland), initially studied violin with Zakhar Bron at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía in Madrid before switching to the viola and continuing her master's studies in the viola class of Nobuko Imai.
She has won prizes in numerous competitions, including second prize in the Oskar Nedbal International Viola Competition (with no first prize awarded) and first prize in the Breslavia National Violin Competition. During her studies at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía in Madrid, Weronika Dziadek was a member of the Freixenet Symphony Orchestra, with which she performed throughout Europe under the direction of Zubin Mehta, Péter Eötvös, Pablo González, Andrés Orozco-Estrada, Pablo Heras-Casado and András Schiff. As a soloist and chamber musician, she has worked with artists such as Maxim Vengerov, Miriam Fried, Ning Feng, Mauricio Fuks and Natalia Prishepenko and has performed in renowned concert halls including the National Philharmonic Orchestra in Warsaw, the Baltic Philharmonic Orchestra in Gdansk, the Krakow Philharmonic Orchestra, the Auditorio Nacional de Música and the Teatro Real in Madrid.
From 2023 to 2024, she studied at Kronberg Academy with Nobuko Imai. The studies were generously funded by the Dorothea Neuhaus patronage.
